Workshops

Roblyn Training provides workshops on a variety of topics and can customize workshops to meet your needs. Using the Personality DIMENSIONS® tool, our Facilitators can provide energizing, motivating, informative and entertaining workshops that result in the acquisition of skills and techniques for dealing with a variety of workplace situations. We will also provide follow-up monitoring of these skills as requested.

Introduction to Personality DIMENSIONS® Half-day Workshop
Participants gain an understanding of themselves and others based on their preferred temperament style. Their core needs, their innate abilities, their key frustrations, and typical behavioral styles are explored. They also learn why others don’t think and act like they do. They learn strategies and techniques for dealing with these differences to improve communications and interpersonal relations.

Teambuilding
Each team member will have individual needs, strengths and communication styles. When not understood, these differences can cause disharmony and reduced productivity on a team. Personality DIMENSIONS®  will help team members recognize and appreciate their individual differences, capitalize on those difference, promote co-operation, minimize needless conflict and produce stronger, cohesive and more productive teams.

Respectful Workplace
We all want to work in a respectful, comfortable, environment; but sometimes that is not always the case. Disrespect and conflicts can occur because we each tackle life with a slightly different play-book. We seek our goals in different ways and therefore, an action that may seem clear and just to me may be viewed as disrespectful or annoying to you. This workshop will help us to recognize that others don’t see or do things the way we do but their way may be equally valid and worthy of your respect. It also shows how to complement and reward coworkers differently, how to treat people the way they need to be treated to maximize respect, productivity and harmony in the workplace.

Energizing After Downsizing
Downsizing is always traumatic for those who actually lose their jobs. However, those who “survive” the downsizing suffer tremendously as well. Survivors face unwanted change, confusion, guilt, increased workload, decreased confidence, increased stress and anxiety, decreased morale, and just plain fear (Will I be next?). A demoralized staff takes a heavy toll on your company; increased sick leave, decline in cooperation and effective teamwork, decreased motivation and productivity, increased conflict, and wavering loyalty. It is critical to help your remaining staff cope with their feelings, adjust to the changes they face, and improve their morale.

This workshop shows managers, supervisors and HR people how to re-energize their staff, increase their confidence and their feelings of being valued. Improving their morale can reduce a lot of the above problems. Your “survivors” will not only feel better about themselves but also about the company and the “new” team they are working with

Leadership Development
Leaders can’t check their personalities at the door. However, they can learn to lead and communicate in ways that are understood and appreciated by the diverse members of their team. Personality DIMENSIONS® can help leaders to understand the strengths and challenges of a variety of leadership styles. Leaders can also learn to recognize and appreciate the needs, expectations and preferences of their employees and to capitalize on them.

Change Management
Today’s work world is changing rapidly and its workers need to be able to keep up. Change is stressful to most people, but this workshop can help with major and minor transitions.

Conflict Resolution
There is good conflict that can help us identify areas in need of improvement and bad conflict that is simply disruptive and unproductive. Personality DIMENSIONS® is an excellent tool for helping to understand common sources of conflict and strategies for avoiding or repairing damaged relationships. This is an excellent workshop for professionals working in negotiations or mediations as well as anyone working with others.

Career Management
This workshop will help participants venturing into the work world for the first time or those who might be looking to make a career change. They will identify their unique strengths, values, skills, and preferred work environment so as to identify possible career options that could be a good fit for them. They will also learn how to conduct research into these possible fields. This workshop is customized to address the target audience and the desired focus of the learning objectives. It can also be expanded into several workshops including resume and cover letter writing, interviewing skills and job search strategies. CAREER Dimensions™ may also be employed in career assessment and planning.
